Bad News: The Most Depressing Thing I Ever Wrote

Only a handful of these left:  You can find them here on Etsy.

I printed about 1,000 of these in 2015, struggling to deal with all the horrible news that seemed to be everywhere. I distributed several hundred before the whole project depressed me so much I destroyed most of the remaining copies.

On Christmas day I hiked to the middle of the Appalachian Trail to try and get some perspective. It didn't help, but this single tabloid page resulted from the whole trek and too many angsty hours reading the news and feeling like the world was ending.

It begins:

"The news is almost entirely bad, so let's start with a glimmer of goodness: This is probably as awful as it gets."

Single sheet, B&W, 11x14.
