Cabin Fever

Middle of February is about the same as time last year, when I started eyeing the woodpile suspiciously and checking out flights to somewhere warmer.

It's like I can see the end of winter, but I know it's farther away then I think.

Living in a small space can be a challenge, but much moreso in winter. It's impossible to keep clean, going in and out to get wood. And the relative size of it shrinks. In summer, being outside on the deck is more normal than being inside.

I think the woodpile will get me into April. Just have to stay sane and active.
